Lately there have been a few questions about what can and can not be done with the website for the general Pleasanton public so here is a "Top 5" list of what can be done on the website:

1. Use it for any public event - feel free to send events such as wedding announcements, community events, Happy Birthday wishes, or about any other item that is related to Pleasanton. We will not post anything that is vulgor, adult oriented, or invades the privacy of individuals. Feel free to send me a message and ask if it can be added to the site. Most of this type of thing will be done for free or if there is a charge we will let you know up front about it.
2. Use the Free Business Listing - this is a free service to be listed in the Pleasanton Businesses Area.
3. Classified Ads - list an ad for up to a month for $5. This is much cheaper than the Kearney Hub. We also list Freebies, To Give Aways, and Lost/Found free of charge.
4. Community Information - please feel free to send information about the community that you would like to see or feel it a benefit to others. This could be anything from town history to village board meeting minutes.
5. Advertise your business - there are 4 different forms of ways to advertise your business on the website.
   1. Free Listing in the Business Area will let viewers know about your business and a brief description to give them hours, directions, phone number, etc in a limited amount of space.
   2. 1 page business listing will let viewers know a little more about your business. You can use this to do web promotions, coupons, hours, menus, etc. General cost for this would be around $50^*to build the page and $5/month for maintenence(2 changes per year) and hosting. Stats available for additional small fee. An example is from Dauel Mini Storage page.
   3. Page Sponsoring is having a rotating ad on the page of your choice. This is a "banner ad" that can have up to 5 faces. The cost is $200/year. This includes building the faces, 2 text changes per year, and hosting. There would be a small additional charge if I have to take the photos or scan them from a non-digital camera. Look at the bottom of the home page for an example.
   4. The last method of business advertising is a full website. These can vary in cost but I would be more than happy to have a free consultation meeting with you if you have questions.
   Just a reminder that 10% of these fees are returned to the community.
