Pleasanton is a small town nestled along the South Loup River in south central Nebraska. It is a small thriving community with great work ethic and a great place to raise a family. The town is located 20 miles north of Kearney. Kearney offers all the amenties of your larger towns and many job opportunities.

Pleasanton has businesses that will easily support your day to day needs. They also have the great volunteer base that is needed to keep a small town thriving including a large Fire and EMT department, Pre-K through 12 grade school system, 2 parks, ball fields, 4 churches, multiple daycares, and much more.

WATER TOWER Work...

Work is set to begin on the water tower early October, sometime around October 6th. If residents could limit watering their lawn during this project, it would be greatly appreciated.

LITTLE FREE LIBRARY....

Little Free Library is up at Klein Park (north of the Sandbar). It’s stocked with toddler, youth, and adult books. Take a Book; Share a Book. Donations of books are accepted to keep it stocked. Contact Heide Epley for more details. A BIG thank you to Heide, for starting this!
